General Summary or Job Objective:

Manage various clients’ portfolios, responsible for sale activities and follow up, as well as the development of new revenue streams for INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Org. Est, in line with INDEX Holding’s strategic plan, vision, mission, values goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Achieve sales targets as defined by management of INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Org. Est
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular close contact account management; which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone, mail and email communication.
  • Proactively seek new ways to increase the services offered to existing client and increase the income generated.
  • Source and develop new business opportunities, through one’s own initiative and with the support and direction of management.
  • Follow up, support and action any potential new business clients as directed by Management
  • Cold call prospective new business customers on a regular basis.
  • Retain portfolio of clients.
  • Manage sales opportunities in a structured and documented fashion.
  • Work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status and to identify potential issues and or opportunities within or related to the project.
  • Communicate and coordinate appropriate account details to various teams and subcontractors in a timely fashion as per the policies and procedures to ensure client’s needs are known and dully met.
  • Respond to requests from the client in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order and collection up to ensuring successful delivery, and after event service.
  • Issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collect dues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing or any other related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in Exhibition Sales in UAE.
  • Proven track record of over achieving sales targets
  • Must have a valid UAE driving license.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude in dealing with people.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
  • Absolute understanding of the sales process
  • Strong understanding of the content of each exhibition
  • Committed to teamwork and account results
  • Strong motivation and a positive approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities

General Summary or Job Objective:

An Event Coordinator undertakes and coordinates all the operational tasks associated with the event working effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups to ensure the smooth running of the assigned event in line with INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions strategic plan, vision, mission, values goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:

Event Planning and Production:

  • Prepare plans and develop timetables with set deadlines in accordance with the project management process adopted by INDEX for the various event related activities
  • Execute and coordinate all assigned areas of project management activity
  • Coordinate the day to day activities of the event
  • Interact closely and effectively with other departments and teams including the Project Manager, ensuring being briefed fully and correctly in all aspects
  • Interact closely and clearly with other team members to monitor the progress of these activities, and their completion
  • Assist other departments and teams to ensure the timely completion of these activities
  • Maintain an ongoing progress report and produce periodic status reports of the event
  • Attend to all stakeholders’ expectations by communicating through meetings, verbal, written and email forms
  • Respond to requests from the client in an efficient and timely manner
  • Actively seek to increase the income generated by the event in conjunction with the Project Manager, closely monitoring and actively reducing expenses.

Event Administration:

  • Able to use own initiative in identifying, addressing and resolving day to day issues and challenges
  • Able to work appropriate hours to complete tasks and meet goals
  • Be the client advocate; ensure all issues and changes are met by the team
  • Perform other duties as may occur and as instructed by INDEX Management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Event Management or any other related field.
  • 2 years’ experience in Event operations (preferably in Conference & Exhibition)
  • Strong understanding of the scientific content of each exhibition
  • Committed to teamwork and account results
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).

General Summary or Job Objective:

Handle the Media & PR requirements of the company by developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating communications strategy in order to support the communication objectives and maximize positive exposure in local, national and international markets in line with INDEX Media’s strategic plan, vision, mission, values, goals and objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare, plan and develop an effective media plan including but not limited to Public Relation Activities, Mass Media Activities, Journalism, Advertisement, Commercials, Publishing and Internet.
  • Coordinate with respective managers, marketing and social media executives to prepare events’ Media & PR campaigns.
  • Assist in creating and engaging an interesting content (posts, videos, promotions, etc.)
  • Able to write proficiently well in Arabic & English both.
  • Able to write press releases, reports, advertorials and speeches based on specific briefs.
  • Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites.
  • Able to write in an accurate, clear and complete style.
  • Meet related deadlines.
  • Must organize and conduct effective press events.
  • Contact and attract the local and international members of the press to press events.
  • Follow up with reporters on publications of press releases and other related articles.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in Public relation and Media.

  • Ability to pitch to media.
  • Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
  • Understanding of Social Media and solid experience working with bloggers.
  • Excellent verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.

General Summary or Job Objective:

The main role of a Production Manager is to oversee the workshop and project and wok in line with Bigot’s vision and mission.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to review designs, drawings and work closely with the design department to ensure production objectives are met.
  • Monitor budget for each project: Including purchasing new materials, use of in-house materials, logistics and manpower.
  • Monitor day-to- day factory production procedures
  • Submitting document for necessary venue approvals.
  • Working on inquiring quotation from supplier for the outsource job.
  • Assisting in preparation of BOQ of the job
  • Responsible for site inspections prior production
  • Coordinating with site foremen for smooth production & Installation.
  • Ensuring the work is deliver with high quality & standard as per the company guidelines and client expectations.
  • Maintaining good relations with the vendors & Suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in managing a production facility for an events company, including procurement, labour management, production floor management, stock keeping, on-site installation, and supervision.
  • Production experience covering carpentry, acrylic work, welding, paint work and digital printing.
  • Valid UAE Driving license is a must
  • 10 years (at least 5 years local experience)
  • Bachelors in Architecture or Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
