H.E. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt Honors Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani for his Achievements in the Dental Field
Cairo, Egypt, 12 December 2018: During the opening ceremony of the 1st International Dental Congress of Arab Dental Federation, His Excellency Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, Dr. Khalid Atef Abdul Ghaffar, honored Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, the Executive Chairman of the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC), and the Chairman of the Global Scientific Dental Alliance, who is representing the UAE as a guest of honor in this unique forum for his contributions in developing the dentistry field and uplifting the position of the Arab Dentists. This great ceremony was attended by Dr. Yasser El Gendy, Head of the Egyptian Dental Association, number of ministers, ambassadors and dignitaries from various Arab countries and around the world.
Dr. Nahawand Thabet, Member of the Egyptian Dental Association and Member of the Higher Committee for Organizing the Conference, stated that Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani was selected for his great achievements and efforts exerted in raising the level and status of the Arab dentists all over the world by establishing AEEDC, the largest dental conference & exhibition in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia and the second largest in the world.
Commenting on this occasion, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, said: “It was truly an honor for me to represent the United Arab Emirates at this distinguished conference which was held in its first session in the capital of Egypt, Cairo and I am very pleased with this recognition and appreciation from His Excellency Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, Dr. Khalid Atef Abdul Ghaffar. Also, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all the organizers of the 1st International Dental Congress of Arab Dental Federation for their efforts in organizing this special event, which I was so pleased to attend and participate in and I wish them all the success in bringing up the status of the Arab Dentists at local, regional and international levels.
He added: “I will always strive to provide the best in the field of health and medical services, especially dentistry which will help in return in promoting the stature of the UAE in particular and the Arab world in general, as our progress and development in such an important field is a pride for the Arab world and its people wherever they are.”
It is worth mentioning that the 1st International Dental Congress of Arab Dental Federation will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from December 12 to 14, in the presence of medical leaders, heads of Arab unions and dentists from various Arab and foreign countries. It will include several topics that tackle various aspects of dentistry and the ethics of this profession.
معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في مصر يكرم الدكتور عبد السلام المدني لإنجازاته المشرفة في مجال طب الأسنان
القاهرة، جمهورية مصر العربية، 12 ديسمبر 2018:قام معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في جمهورية مصر العربية، الدكتور خالد عبد الغفار، بتكريم الدكتور عبد السلام المدني، الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤتمر الإمارات الدولي لطب الأسنان ومعرض طب الأسنان العربي (إيدك دبي) ورئيس الإتحاد العلمي العالمي لطب الأسنان خلال حفل افتتاح المؤتمر الدولي الأول لاتحاد أطباء الأسنان العرب أثناء حلوله كضيف شرف لتمثيل دولة الإمارات العربية في هذا المحفل الهام بالنسبة للعالم العربي، لما بذله من جهود عظيمة في الارتقاء بمكانة طبيب الأسنان العربي وتشريف اسمه في المحافل الدولية والعالمية. وقد جرى التكريم بحضور الدكتور ياسر الجندي، نقيب أطباء أسنان مصر وأمين عام اتحاد أطباء الأسنان العرب وعدد من الوزراء والسفراء والشخصيات البارزة من مختلف الدول العربية ومن العالم.
وصرحت الدكتورة نهاوند ثابت عضو النقابة العامة لأطباء أسنان مصر وعضو اللجنة العليا لتنظيم المؤتمر أنه قد تم اختيار الدكتور عبد السلام المدني لإنجازاته العظيمة والمساعي الحثيثة التي بذلها في رفع شأن مستوى طبيب الأسنان العربي وصل صداه إلى العالم وإسهاماته المتميزة في مختلف المجالات الطبية والعلمية وذلك من خلال تأسيسه لمؤتمر ومعرض إيدك-المؤتمر الأول على مستوى الشرق والأوسط وشمال أفريقيا في مجال طب الأسنان والثاني على مستوى العالم أجمع.
وقال الدكتور عبد السلام المدني في حديثه حول هذا التكريم: “كان حقًا شرف لي تمثيل دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في هذا المؤتمر المميز الذي عُقد في دورته الأولى في جمهورية مصر العربية احتفالاً بمضي خمسين عامًا على تأسيس اتحاد أطباء الأسنان العرب. وأنا سعيد للغاية بهذا التشريف والتقدير من معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في جمهورية مصر العربية، الدكتور خالد عبد الغفار. وفي هذه المناسبة، أود أن أتقدم بأسمى معاني الشكر لجميع القائمين والمنظمين للمؤتمر الدولي الأول لاتحاد أطباء الأسنان العرب على جهودهم في تنظيم هذا الحدث الذي أسعدني حضوره والمشاركة فيه وأتنمى لهم المزيد من النجاح بما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة الأطباء العرب على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي والعالمي.
وأضاف: “سأعمل دائمًا على تقديم ما باستطاعتي للنهوض بمجال الخدمات الصحية والطبية لا سيما مجال طب الأسنان بما يعزز من مكانة دولة الإمارات العربية خصوصاً والعالم العربي عموماً، فارتقاؤنا في مجال هام كهذا هو فخر للعرب أجمع أينما كانوا.”
يذكر أن المؤتمر الدولي الأول لاتحاد أطباء الأسنان العرب يُقام في القاهرة، جمهورية مصر العربية في الفترة من 12 إلى 14 ديسمبر؛ بحضور قيادات طبية ورؤساء نقابات الوطن العربي وأساتذة طب الأسنان من مختلف الدول العربية والأجنبية ويتضمن عدة محاور حول مختلف جوانب طب الأسنان وأخلاقيات هذه المهنة.
